Website backups are crucial to ensure that your data is safe and recoverable in case of unexpected issues. This guide will walk you through the process of backing up and restoring your website in cPanel.


Backup Process in cPanel:

  1. Log into cPanel.

  2. In the Files section, click on Backup.

  3. Under the Full Backup section, click on Download a Full Website Backup.

  4. Select the backup destination:

    • Choose Home Directory for a full backup, or choose another destination such as Remote FTP Server if you want to store it offsite.

  5. Select Generate Backup. Once it’s completed, you can download the backup file from the Backups Available for Download section.
