13. How to Install SSL Certificates on Your Website Print

SSL certificates ensure secure communication between your website and its visitors by encrypting data. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of installing SSL certificates on cPanel, CWP, and Webuzo.


???? For cPanel:

  1. Log into cPanel and scroll to the Security section.

  2. Click on SSL/TLS.

  3. Under the Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS) section, select Manage SSL sites.

  4. In the Install an SSL Website section, select the domain to secure.

  5. Paste the Certificate (CRT), Private Key (KEY), and Certificate Authority Bundle (CABUNDLE) into the respective fields.

  6. Click Install Certificate.


???? For CWP (Control Web Panel):

  1. Log into CWP.

  2. Go to Security → SSL Certificates.

  3. Select the domain you wish to install the certificate for.

  4. Paste your certificate, private key, and CA bundle in the appropriate fields.

  5. Click Install SSL.


???? For Webuzo:

  1. Log into Webuzo.

  2. In the Security section, click SSL Certificates.

  3. Click Add SSL Certificate for the domain you wish to secure.

  4. Paste the Certificate, Private Key, and CA Bundle.

  5. Click Save to install the certificate.

  • Always backup your SSL certificates and keys for safety.

  • After installation, make sure your website redirects all traffic to HTTPS. You can enforce this via .htaccess or web panel settings.

  • Regularly renew your SSL certificates before they expire.
