15. How to Connect Your Domain to Meeky Boost Hosting. Print

  • 3732

To get your website live, your domain needs to be connected to your hosting account at Meeky Boost. Whether your domain is registered with us or another provider, this guide walks you through the process.

???? Option 1: Domain Registered with Meeky Boost

If you purchased your domain directly from Meeky Boost:

  1. Log in to your Client Area.

  2. Go to Domains > My Domains.

  3. Click Manage Domain next to the domain you want to connect.

  4. Under Nameservers, choose:

    • Use default nameservers (recommended):

      • ns1.meekyboost.com

      • ns2.meekyboost.com

    • Or set custom nameservers if using private DNS.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Your domain is now connected to your Meeky Boost hosting account!

???? Option 2: Domain Registered Elsewhere

If your domain is registered with another provider (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy):

  1. Log in to your domain registrar’s dashboard.

  2. Locate DNS settings or Nameserver settings.

  3. Replace existing nameservers with:

ns1.meekyboost.com ns2.meekyboost.com
  1. Save the changes and wait for propagation (can take 4–48 hours globally).

???? What This Does:

Nameservers tell the internet where your website is hosted. By pointing your domain to Meeky Boost’s nameservers, visitors will reach your website on our servers.

???? Optional – Use A Records Instead

If you don’t want to use our nameservers, you can point your domain using A records:

  • Go to your DNS manager

  • Add an A Record pointing @ or yourdomain.com to your Meeky Boost hosting IP

  • Add a CNAME for www to point to yourdomain.com

This is useful if you're using an external DNS or CDN like Cloudflare.
